Before his remarkable contributions to VVGP, Dr. K.P. Dharmaraja Iyer held a prestigious position as the Professor and Head of the Department of Chemistry at University College, Thiruvananthapuram. His tenure there was marked by a commitment to academic excellence and a profound dedication to nurturing the minds of future generations.

Dr. K.P. Dharmaraja Iyer founded the Veda Vedanga Gaveshana Parishath with a transformative vision: to elevate astrology to the status of a rigorous scientific discipline. He believed that astrology, often dismissed as mere superstition, holds valuable insights that can greatly benefit society. The Veda Vedanga Gaveshana Parishath (VVGP) began its journey in 1992 at the Kalpakanayaki Temple in Puthen Theruvu, Muttathara, Thiruvananthapuram. What started as a small study group focused on astrology and related fields quickly grew in scope. By the year 2000, the organization was formally registered under the Travancore-Cochin Literary, Scientific and Charitable Societies Registration Act. In 2005, VVGP achieved a significant milestone with the opening of its own building in Sreekanteswaram, a development that greatly enhanced its ability to expand and connect with a larger community.

Dr. K.P. Dharmaraja Iyer, a well-respected scholar and educator, founded VVGP with a clear mission. He wanted to promote astrology as a real science that would benefit society and help people move beyond superstitions. The organization focuses on conducting academic and scientific research in astrology and its related fields, using modern methods to understand ancient practices. Because of this mission, VVGP has attracted over five hundred members from various backgrounds, all interested in learning more about astrology and its applications.

Over the years, VVGP has expanded its services significantly. It offers astrology and palmistry consultations, Vastu consultancy, and a variety of educational courses designed for beginners and advanced learners alike. The organization has developed a structured curriculum that has successfully trained over 5,000 astrologers, emphasizing the importance of quality education and research in astrology. Through these efforts, VVGP continues to inspire individuals and promote a deeper understanding of astrology, helping people see its relevance in today’s world while encouraging critical thinking and knowledge.

Vastu Consultation: Our pool of trained Vastu astrologers provides expert consultation to help align your living and working spaces with the principles of Vastu for positive energy flow.

Palmistry Consultation: We offer consultation services in the field of Palmistry, led by our team of trained and experienced Palmists.
