As part of our mission to create a new school of scientifically trained astrologers and to allow benefits of this scientific knowledge reach the society, we conduct exclusive courses in the areas of astrology and allied subjects:

Veda Vedanga Gaveshana Parishath views the science of astrology not belonging to any specific religion or culture, but only as a scientific subject of study.

SYLLABUS

Course 1: Two-Year Certification Course in Astrology

  • Year 1: Fundamentals of Astrology
    - Introduction to the origins of astrology and its relationship with astronomy
    - Planets / Constellations & Zodiac
    - Rashi and Rashi Chakra
    - Karakatwas of Grahas
    - Lagna / Ascendant
    - Panchanga: Nakshatra / Tithi / Varam / Karanam / Yogam
    - Dasha and Apaharam
    - Astrological calculations
    - Casting horoscopes and concepts of prediction
    - Jathakadesham
    - Hora Shastra
    - Phaladeepika

  • Year 2: Advanced Astrology
    - Horoscope Analysis and Compatibility
    - Predictions Based on Bhava and Dasa
    - Muhurta: Understanding the significance of time and selecting auspicious moments for important activities
    - Sidereal Time
    - Table for Lagna and Bhava Calculation
    - Practical experience with predictive techniques through real case studies and event timing
    - Ephemeris
    - Prashnamarga

Upon successful completion of the two-year course, a certificate will be awarded to those who achieve at least 50% in the exam.  

Course 2: Advanced Study in Prasna

 

Practical Prasna classes are conducted in a traditional Gurukulam style.

These classes take place every Monday, where genuine and committed seekers of prasna phala can pose their queries. The Acharya and experienced members of the Veda Vedanga Gaveshana Parishath respond based on prasna charts, nimitham, and other prasna principles. This is followed by a live discussion that allows students to share their insights. The veterans and Acharya provide guidance, correcting misunderstandings and clarifying the underlying theories behind their conclusions.

ADMISSION
